All Ages! (kids + adults, side X side)

A playful, confidence-building life drawing class for parents and kids, together! You will draw from a clothed, friendly model and learn useful basics like gesture drawing, proportion, and how to capture movement without getting stuck on “perfect.” We will use simple materials and quick prompts so everyone can jump in, laugh a little, and leave with a stack of drawings and a few go-to skills you can use anytime you sketch people. One registration is for TWO people: an adult and a kiddo! All levels welcome!

In this class, you’ll learn how to sculpt vessels and other forms using the fundamental technique of hand-building (coils!) with air-dry clay. Bring your favourite stuffy and we’ll create one-of-a-kind architecture! Think mansions, two-story abodes, special hideouts, and more, with beds, tables, chairs, garages … basically anything you can dream up. We teach in a way that’s fun for all ages. Watch kids (and grown-ups!) beam as they see their stuffed animals move into their new homes, a project that can be played with again and again. The class fee is for one adult and one child.
