All Ages! (kids + adults, side X side)
Led by Hot Pizza founder Julia Dault, this one-off, all-ages painting studio is a fun, low-pressure chance to play with water-based paints (tempera, acrylic, and watercolour) while learning practical skills you can reuse. We will cover colour mixing, brush control, layering, and a few go-to techniques for texture and effects, then try them out on a mix of papers and surfaces. One registration is for TWO people: an adult and a kiddo! All levels welcome! At our 134 Osler Street location.

Printmaking is pure magic — and in this family-friendly workshop, you’ll get to see it up close (no sharp tools involved). Through easy, step-by-step demonstrations, students will experiment with a variety of printmaking techniques and create a stack of beautiful prints to take home. Along the way, participants will build the skills (and confidence) to keep exploring printmaking long after class ends. Taught by the wonderful Paul Dotey! Class fee includes 1 adult + 1 child. Want to add an additional kid attendee? Click here. At our 1152 College Street location.

Bring your favourite stuffie and we’ll create one-of-a-kind high-fashion outfits! Think dresses, skirts, vests, crowns, capes, hats, scarves… basically anything you can dream up. We teach basic sewing skills in a way that’s fun for all ages—kids, adults, and everyone in between. Watch kids (and grown-ups!) beam as they see their stuffed animals transformed into little fashion icons at the Hot Pizza Atelier. The class fee is for one adult and one child. If you’d like to add an additional kid-attendee, then click here. At our 1152 College Street location.

A playful, confidence-building life drawing class for parents and kids, together! You will draw from a clothed, friendly model and learn useful basics like gesture drawing, proportion, and how to capture movement without getting stuck on “perfect.” We will use simple materials and quick prompts so everyone can jump in, laugh a little, and leave with a stack of drawings and a few go-to skills you can use anytime you sketch people. Beginners welcome. Taught by Kelly Rose Adams. At our 134 Osler Street location.
Sunday, June 21 from 10 a.m.—12 p.m.
This is the most fun you’ve ever had: we’ll make sculptures of our own hands using alginate molds + hydrocal (don’t worry—we’ll teach you exactly how). You’ll leave with an incredible, perfectly detailed cast of your hand (or you and a loved one’s, besties, two siblings, etc., hands together). It’s weirdly moving, wildly satisfying, and honestly kind of magical—you’ll see. You leave with a unique and special work of art as a forever keepsake. Class fee is per person. At our 1152 College Street location.
