In The Slice, students will learn how to create a magazine from start to finish — brainstorming ideas, writing stories, conducting interviews, taking photographs, designing layouts, selling community ads, printing, and turning it all into a real magazine to share throughout the neighbourhood.

Students will try music and ice cream reviews, investigative reporting, comics, recommendations, photography, design, and more, while learning how words, images, and big ideas come together on the page.
