Step into a world of imagination in this Dungeons & Dragons–inspired art-and-adventure course. Students will design their own characters, then build the world around them by crafting game boards, maps, tokens, and props using a mix of drawing, collage, sculpture, and found materials. Once the creations are ready, we will play the game together, using teamwork, storytelling, and problem-solving to guide the party through quests and surprises. Perfect for kids who love fantasy, monsters, and making things with their hands. No experience with D&D required! This will be a NEW campaign for those students continuing from last semester. Taught by the amazing DM Mike Ellis, of Pieces of Eights fame. Oh! And actual hot pizza will be served in the last class! Runs November 6, 13, and 27; December 4, 11, and 18.
