REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 16 at 8 A.M.
Students will design and construct original soft sculptures—from stuffed animals and strange creatures to wearable pieces and room décor. They’ll develop ideas through sketching, pattern-making, hand-and-machine sewing, embroidery, crochet, and fabric embellishment before completing an ambitious final project of their own design. No previous sewing experience required. Led by the wonderful Madeleine Bell—whose deep sewing knowledge is genuinely amazing. Oh! And actual hot pizza will be served in the last class! Runs November 5, 12, 19, and 26; December 3, 10, and 17. At 1152 College St. *Students may be required to bring in their own fabric for the capstone project.
