REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 16 at 8 A.M.
This mixed-media class gives students room to build skills, experiment with materials, and make ambitious, expressive projects. It’s also a chance to focus, if needed, on compiling a serious portfolio for any visual arts high school applications (due Dec. 12!) highlighting voice and choice and the inclusion of work demonstrating diverse processes. Students will use pencil, graphite, pastels, acrylic paint, clay, found and discarded materials, and more. This class is a great fit for students who love making art, want to try new techniques, and are excited to push their creativity further in a supportive studio environment. Lessons are scaffolded so that current students may continue in this course without overlapping content. OH! And we serve actual hot pizza on the last day of class! Runs November 5, 12, 19, and 26; December 3, 10, and 17. At our 1152 College Street location.
