This class will explore the basics of oil painting, including colour theory, composition, and a variety of application strategies. All skill levels are welcome! Each class will build upon the previous session, and over the course of seven weeks, students will create several small oil paintings using photographs as references. The class will consist of both group instruction and one–on–one attention from the wildly talented Hot Pizza Faculty member Kelly Rose Adams. Students will be sent a list of materials to bring with them at the start of the course. Runs November 4, 11, 18, and 25; December 2, 9, and 16. At our 134 Osler Street location. *if you have taken our oil painting course already, you may still register this course and the content will be scaffolded to your skill-and-knowledge set.
