Thursdays from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at 1152 College Street
For 6 WEEKS starting May 7 - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
This is a hands-on course for making garments that fit you while using nearly every scrap of fabric. You will learn the essentials, including machine basics, taking measurements, cutting, seam finishing, and construction, in a supportive, community studio setting. We will complete three practical, style-forward projects: a one-of-a-kind tote, a simple jacket or housecoat, and a final “choose-your-own” garment with lots of guidance and options. (This is a pillowcase-free zone.) Bring your own machine if you have one, and we will help you get it set up and running smoothly, plus cover basic care and maintenance. Taught by artist and sewing phenom Madelaine Bell. Runs May 7, 14, 21, 28; June 4 and 11. At our 1152 College Street location.
