Friday, September 18, Doors open at 6 p.m.; screening starts at 6:30 p.m. (sharp!) and runs until 8 p.m. at 1152 College Street ~ All ages
Join us for a playful, surprising, and very kid-friendly evening of short films by conceptual artists. These aren’t ordinary movies: they’re funny, strange, inventive, and full of unexpected moments — the kind of videos that make you ask, “Wait… what just happened?” in the best possible way. We’ll be showing fan-favourite Bas Jan Ader, along with Vito Acconci, Pipilotti Risk, John Smith, Kota Ezawa, and more. Don’t know what conceptual art is? No problem! Hot Pizza co-founder—and accomplished editor, curator, and writer—Brian Sholis will guide us through this amazing adventure. Snacks provided, but feel free to bring your own, too! At our 1152 College Street location. Fee is per/person! All proceeds support the Hot Pizza Bursary Fund.
