Monster specimens, slime creatures, and fantastical beasts await! Over seven weeks, students will dream up, design, and build a cast of original creatures using comics, clay, fabric, slime, paper, paint, found objects, slime, and more. We’ll begin with sketches and material experiments, exploring shape, texture, colour, movement, and unusual creature features. As their ideas develop, students will sculpt, assemble, paint, sew, and embellish their creations, then invent habitats, powers, personalities, and stories for them. Perfect for curious kids who love experimenting, making messes, and following wild ideas wherever they lead. Oh! And actual hot pizza will be served in the last class! Runs November 6, 13, and 27; December 4, 11, and 18. At 1152 College Street.
