Mondays from 6:30—8:30 p.m. at 134 Osler St. ~ For 7 WEEKS starting September 14
REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 14 AT 8 A.M.
In this course, Hot Pizza becomes a buzzing sewing atelier where students will explore hand-sewing, machine-sewing, embroidery, knitting, and design-focused techniques, building confidence with tools and materials as they go. Along the way, we’ll experiment with small projects and skill-building exercises before moving into a capstone sewing project of each student’s own design. Think: a custom garment or accessory, a soft sculpture, a textile piece, or something totally unexpected. This is a great class for curious makers who want more independence, more creative choice, and the chance to bring their own ideas to life. All levels welcome! No sewing experience required—just curiosity, focus, and a willingness to experiment. Led by the wonderful Madeleine Bell—whose deep sewing knowledge is genuinely amazing. Note: students must provide their own fabric for the capstone project. Oh! And actual hot pizza will be served on the last day of class! Runs September 14, 21, and 28; October 5, 19, 26; November 2.
