For 6 WEEKS starting May 8 - REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 10!
Calling all storytellers and curious writers! In this lively, supportive writing studio, students will explore both fiction and non-fiction through fun prompts, games, and creative challenges. We will build real skills step-by-step, including developing characters, writing stronger scenes, shaping true stories from personal experience, and experimenting with voice, dialogue, and description. Each week, students will leave with new pages, new techniques, and new confidence. The session ends with a small collection of polished pieces that writers can be proud of. Oh! And we serve actual hot pizza in the last class! Taught by award-winning writer and filmmaker José Avelino Gilles Corbett Lourenço. Runs May 8, 15, 22, 29; June 5 and 12. At our 1152 College Street location. Part of our new literary arts offerings.
